While in their natural habitat, gnolls wear only a loincloth and belt, with a sling for bow and quiver when necessary.
However, this purely functional look does not pass muster in "civilization"—which requires (even in warm climates) a complicated uniform including shirts, shoes, and something to cover the butt, preferably with redundant layers of fabric.
